Bleu and the Little Voice That Made a Big Difference
The sun was shining over Safari Forest, and Bleu was fluttering happily from flower to flower.
“Good morning, beautiful forest!” she sang. “It's a wonderful day to spread some joy!”
Bleu loved encouraging her friends. Whenever someone needed a kind word, she was usually the first one there.
Today, Ms. Rose had planned something special.
“Kingdom Kids,” she announced, “we're going to prepare a celebration for our new Safari Forest neighbors!”
Sophie bounced excitedly. “Ooooh! A PARTY! I'll organize the decorations!”
Ian stretched his long neck. “I'll make sure everything is perfectly arranged!”
Timmy lifted his trunk. “And I'll carry the big baskets!”
Bleu fluttered in circles.
“And I'll help everyone smile!”
The friends hurried off to prepare.
As Bleu flew toward the flower garden, she noticed a little ladybug sitting alone on a leaf.
“Hello there!” Bleu chirped. “I'm Bleu! What's your name?”
“Lilly,” the ladybug answered quietly.
“Would you like to help us get ready for the celebration?”
Lilly looked down.
“I don't think I can help very much. I'm so little.”
Bleu landed gently beside her.
“Little? Well, look at me!” Bleu giggled. “I'm not exactly the biggest animal in Safari Forest!”
Lilly smiled a little.
“But everyone else can do such big things,” she said. “Timmy can carry baskets. Ian can reach the tall branches. Sophie can organize everything.”
Bleu thought for a moment.
Then her wings fluttered excitedly.
“Lilly! I know something wonderful!”
“What?”
“God's Word says He has given us power, love, and a sound mind!”
Lilly tilted her head.
“But how can someone as small as me have power?”
Bleu smiled.
“Power from God isn't about how big you are. It's about what He gives you to do what is right!”
Just then, they heard Sophie calling.
“Oh no! We forgot to make welcome cards for our new neighbors!”
Bleu looked at Lilly.
“Do you like drawing?”
Lilly's eyes brightened.
“I LOVE drawing!”
“Then come on! We have a very important mission!”
Together, Bleu and Lilly gathered colorful leaves and flower petals.
Lilly carefully arranged them into beautiful welcome cards while Bleu helped carry the supplies.
When the Kingdom Kids returned, they couldn't believe their eyes.
“WOW!” Timmy exclaimed. “These are amazing!”
Ian leaned closer.
“Such excellent attention to detail!”
Sophie grinned. “Lilly, you're officially in charge of welcome cards!”
Lilly beamed.
“I didn't know I could do something so important!”
Bleu fluttered beside her.
“See? You didn't have to be bigger. You just needed to use what God had given you!”
Ms. Rose smiled as she joined the friends.
“Bleu, you did something very special today.”
Bleu blinked.
“I did?”
“Yes. You used your words to encourage Lilly. You reminded her of God's truth, and you helped her recognize a way she could serve.”
Bleu's wings shimmered in the sunshine.
“I guess little words can make a BIG difference!”
Ms. Rose nodded.
“Especially when those words are filled with God's truth and love.”
Bleu twirled happily through the air.
“Then I'm going to keep spreading God's Word wherever I go!”
And that day, Bleu learned something wonderful.
The power God gives us isn't measured by our size or how loudly we speak. Through Christ, we can use our words, gifts, and actions to encourage others and make a difference!
