The Kingdom Kids and the Path That Continues
It was a beautiful Sunday morning in Safari Forest, and Ms. Rose had a wonderful surprise waiting for the Kingdom Kids.
Colorful streamers decorated the trees, and a big banner read: KINGDOM KIDS FAITH CELEBRATION!
Timmy arrived first. “OOOOH! A PARTY! Is there banana cake?”
Ms. Rose laughed. “Good morning to you too, Timmy!”
Sophie came bouncing into the clearing. “MAKE WAY! THE CELEBRATION QUEEN HAS ARRIVED!”
Ian adjusted his glasses. “According to my records, no queen has officially been appointed.”
Sophie winked. “Then update your records!”
Bleu fluttered above them. “GOOD MORNING! I LOVE A CELEBRATION!”
Ms. Rose gathered everyone around a beautiful display filled with pictures from their October adventures. “Kingdom Kids, today we’re celebrating everything we’ve learned from God’s Word!”
Timmy spotted a picture of his little footprint trail. “I learned that I can trust God’s Word and take the next wise step!”
Ian pointed to his sunflower. “And I learned that I can ask questions and keep learning while trusting God!”
Sophie struck her famous tiger pose. “I DON’T FOLLOW THE CROWD. I FOLLOW GOD’S WORD!”
Bleu twirled happily. “And I learned that my words can encourage others to walk by faith!”
Ms. Rose smiled. “You’ve all learned wonderful truths. But I have one more thing to show you.”
She led them to a little garden path lined with colorful signs. Each sign carried a message:
I AM LOVED BY GOD.
GOD HAS GIVEN ME POWER, LOVE, AND A SOUND MIND.
I CAN TRUST GOD’S WORD.
I CAN SHOW THE LOVE OF JESUS.
I WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT.
At the end of the path stood a wooden sign: OUR FAITH JOURNEY CONTINUES!
Timmy tilted his head. “Ms. Rose, does that mean we’re not finished?”
Ms. Rose smiled. “Our October lessons are ending, Timmy, but our journey with Jesus continues every day!”
Ian nodded. “So we can keep studying God’s Word?”
“Absolutely!”
Bleu fluttered excitedly. “And encouraging others?”
“Yes!”
Sophie grinned. “And being fabulous?”
Ms. Rose chuckled. “And growing in the character of Christ, Sophie!”
Sophie winked. “I can do BOTH!” Everyone burst into laughter.
Then Ms. Rose opened her Bible. “Let’s say our Scripture together.”
The Kingdom Kids stood tall and declared: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
Bleu began humming their Kingdom Kids song, “Fear Not!” Soon everyone was singing, clapping, and dancing.
Timmy swayed his trunk. Ian kept the beat. Sophie showed off her best tiger dance moves. Bleu twirled through the sunshine. And Ms. Rose lifted her hands in thanksgiving.
When the music ended, everyone shouted: “WE ARE KINGDOM KIDS! WE KNOW WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST JESUS! AND WE WALK BY FAITH!”
Ms. Rose smiled. “Remember, children, God’s Word is not just for today. It’s truth we can live by every day.”
Timmy raised his trunk. “AND NOW… BANANA CAKE?” Everyone laughed.
And as the Kingdom Kids celebrated together, they knew one wonderful thing: Their adventures in God’s Word were only beginning!
